: - Greenwood Place CIL is Camden’s first ever Centre for Independent Living (CIL), which will offer a range of services and activities that support independence, inclusion, health and wellbeing.
It will offer training and employment, encouraging social enterprises to grow and supporting people living in the community to maintain and develop their own independence.
There are separate spaces for services to support people with dementia, mental ill-health, learning disabilities, profound and multiple learning disabilities and autism.
There are acilities and space that can be used by the whole community, including a cafe, a large room for conferences, events or dance, accessible meeting rooms and rooms designed for art, computers and music activities
Flexible spaces can be hired out by community groups and independent organisations.
The building can be used by social enterprises to provide training and employment opportunities.
