- Description
: - A unique doubly curved gridshell shading system was specifically developed for these buildings. This passive system utilises shells placed at geographically orientated angles to the sun to reduce the direct sunlight allowed into the buildings while maintaining diffuse daylight. The outcome was a reduction in both cooling energy and lighting energy. Close collaboration with the Structural Engineers was necessary to design and implement this striking and iconic shading solution which is a prominent feature of the Singaporean skyline.
